Government Services

Over the past several years Prime Electric has performed a substantial amount of federal contract construction work along with work in the private and public sectors as an electrical contractor. In August of 2009, a decision to dedicate a staff exclusively to federal contracting was made and we are now able to provide professional services from task orders to long term contracting for not only federal but also state, county and city government projects throughout the state of New Mexico. Prime Electric has successfully completed contracts with The Army Corp of Engineers, United States Air Force, Lockheed Martin, and other government agencies.

In February 2007 Prime Electric, Inc., Rosendin Electric, Inc., and Budwine Electric Service formed a consortium of contractors called Trico Power LLC www.tricopower.com. Trico Power is a site specific electrical contractor currently working at the 2 billion dollar National Enrichment Facility, www.nefnm.com a uranium centrifuge plant located in Eunice New Mexico.
