Now is a great time to install a solar photovoltaic system at your home or business.  The State of New Mexico offers a 10% tax credit (capped at $9,000) for the total cost of your solar photovoltaic system.  In addition, at the end of 2008 congress passed a bill that not only extends the federal 30% tax credit (www.dsireusa.org ) for solar but also removes the $2,000 cap that existed on the previous tax credit.  Also, the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) (www.pnm.com) will pay you $0.13 for every extra kWh generated by your PV system through their renewable energy credit (REC) (www.pnm.com ) program.

Lighting Retrofits

An important factor in optimizing your return on investment (ROI) with a lighting control system retrofit is to minimize installation costs through the utilization of as much of the existing lighting infrastructure and wiring as possible.

An integrated lighting control system gives you the ability to deliver just the right amount of light, exactly when and where you need it.  This type of system is designed to minimize installation costs and work with a wide variety of existing lighting infrastructures.
